Chamaemelum nobile - Roman Chamomile

Roman Chamomile is a low-growing evergreen perennial with fine fern-like aromatic foliage that has a fruity scent when crushed.  Daisy-like white flowers with yellow centers bloom though summer till frost.  Grows best in full sun and average sandy well-drained soil.  Drought and mowing tolerant, but foot traffic should be minimal.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance.  No serious pests or diseases.  Can be an aggressive spreader in ideal conditions. May cause contact dermatitis in some people; wear gloves when handling. 

LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Rock Gardens, Naturalized Areas, and Containers.
