Echinacea purpurea 'SunMagic Vintage Mango' - SunMagic® Vintage Mango Echinacea

Vintage Mango Echinacea is a compact branching native perennial with strong upright stems that do not need staking and deep green foliage.  The large bright orange flowers with deep orange cones that become creamy orange with age and bloom from mid to late summer.  Thrives in full sun and well-drained soils.  The flowers attract butterflies and bees, and spent stems will stay erect and attract birds if not removed.  Drought tolerant.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance.  Susceptible to aster yellows disease and eriophyid mites.  Heat and drought tolerant.

LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Woodland Garden, Rock Gardens, Groundcover, Native Gardens, and Containers.
