Summer Wine Black Ninebark is a native deciduous shrub with a freely branching upright mounding habit and dramatic saturated near-black wine colored foliage. Small white or pinkish-white flower clusters bloom in late spring into summer. Grows best with afternoon shade in the South and dry to medium well-drained acidic soil.
