Carex laxiculmis 'Hobb' - Blue Bunny Sedge

Blue Bunny Sedge is a shade loving native evergreen grass with dense silver blue foliage.  Sparse insignificant cream flowers bloom in spring.  Prefers part sun and moist well-drained soils.  

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance. Do not let soils dry out.  Cut foliage to the ground and remove it in late winter.  

LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Woodland Gardens, Wildlife Gardens, Naturalized Areas, Native Gardens, Rock Gardens, and Containers.

COMPANION PLANTS: Wild Columbine, Goldenstar, Prairie Smoke
