Forever Emerald Inkberry is a dwarf native evergreen shrub with a mounded habit full to the ground. Its small deep emerald green leaves may brighten with yellow tones in fall.  Though female, it rarely produces fruits.  Best planted in moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils
