Juniperus chinensis 'Sea Green' - Sea Green Juniper

Sea Green Juniper is a compact coniferous shrub with a fountain-like arching habit.  The aromatic scale-like foliage is bright green and may darken in winter.  Best planted in full sun and well-drained soils.  Drought Tolerant once established.   Sea Green is resistant to cedar apple rust.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS:  Low Maintenance.  Junipers are generally susceptible to blights, especially in unusually wet weather.  Rust and canker may occur, though it is not serious.  Potential pests include aphids, bagworms, webworms, and scale.

LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Rock Gardens, Naturalized Areas, Ground cover, Hedges, and Containers.

COMPANION PLANTS:  Catmint, Ninebark, Barberry
